Welcome Snoqualmie Valley School District Employees!

Do your financial or retirement plans include protection against long term care expenses?

They should! If you are like most people, you have insured your health, your car, your life, and your home. You have probably worked hard to accumulate assets for your retirement years. But what if you needed long-term care? Long-term care (LTC) is a risk that can impact or even derail all of your carefully thought out plans. Start planning now.

Thanks to a special partnership with Lehmann Wood Johnson, Inc., you're eligible to receive permanent premium discounts on long-term care insurance from the John Hancock Life Insurance Company.

Normally, individuals must undergo a thorough screening of their medical history in order to qualify for LTC insurance. However, any Snoqualmie Valley School District employee that:

  • works at least 30 hours a week* and
  • is age 18-64* and
  • answers "No" to 6 medical questions
  • submits the appropriate application forms between January 11, 2010 and March 3, 2010

will be eligible for coverage without any further evidence of insurability.

This Web site is a resource that can help you take your first step toward protecting your future! You will not only receive a thorough education about issues relating to long term care, but some specifics about long-term care insurance as well. Simply click on any of the sections listed. This will take you to its explanation and in most cases, subsections across the top for further explanations.

Additional Information

*Even if you work less than 30 hours a week or are age 65-79, you may still be eligible by completing a medical history questionnaire.
