 David Johnson, RHU Biography David has specialized in Long Term Care Insurance and Medicare Supplements for 23 years. David is Vice-President and a principal of Lehmann Wood Johnson, Inc., an insurance agency specializing in individual, association and group long-term care insurance. David is a member of the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner’s Task Force for Updating Washington State’s Long Term Care Insurance Regulations. David is a member of the Health Care Authority’s Long Term Care Insurance Technical Advisory Committee for developing the PEBB Long-term Care insurance program for Washington State employees and retirees. David is the author of the Long-term Care Special Education Course for Insurance Agents in the State of Washington. This course must be completed before an agent can transact long-term care insurance in the State of Washington. David is the author of “Evaluating Long-term Care Insurance”. David was the 1988 1991 State Chairman for Public Service and the Senior Health Insurance Education Committee (SHIEC) of the Washington Association of Health Underwriters. David is also a member of the Washington State Association of Life Underwriters. David was a member of the executive committee of the Health Insurance Training Council (HITC) of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) from 1989-1992. David was a trainer in the Office of the Insurance Commissioner's Senior Health Insurance Benefits Advisors (SHIBA) from 1988 until 1991 and presently helps train insurance counselors for Senior Services of Seattle/King County. David has conducted seminars and addressed many groups on Medicare, Long Term Care and Medicare Supplements. Some of these groups include:
