The Guaranteed issue enrollment period is closed. However new employees* and anyone else interested in applying are asked to call 425-861-8700 or call the Payroll department at the Resource Center at 425-702-3200 in order to sign up. * New Employees are guaranteed to be accepted regardless of medical history if application is made within 30 days of hire. IMPORTANT INSURANCE NOTICE Long term nursing care is a serious and costly form of health care. Recognizing this problem, the Blaine School Dist. is now offering a new, low cost long-term care insurance plan. Underwritten by one of the nation’s leaders in insurance of this type, UNUM, it is now available on a voluntary basis to all employees who work at least 17½ hours per week. The Open Enrollment has ended, teachers in the first 30 day of employment are eligible for open enrollment.* Spouses, siblings, adult children, parents, parents-in-law, grandparents and grandparents-in-law may also apply at Group Rates.
