Riverview School District General Information The Guaranteed issue enrollment period is closed. However new employees* and anyone else interested in applying are asked to call 425-861-8700 or call the Payroll department at the Resource Center at 425-702-3200 in order to sign up. We will present this plan again at the benefit fair in the fall. * New Employee are guaranteed to be accepted regardless of medical history if application is made within 30 days of hire. IMPORTANT INSURANCE NOTICE Long term nursing care is a serious and costly form of health care. Recognizing this problem, the Riverview School Dist is now offering a new, low cost long-term care insurance plan. Underwritten by one of the nation’s leaders in insurance of this type, UNUM, it is now available on a voluntary basis to all employees who work at least 17½ hours per week. The enrollment period will be Announced soon. During this period, the plan is available on a Guaranteed Issue basis* regardless of pre-existing health conditions. Spouses, siblings, adult children, parents, parents-in-law, grandparents and grandparents-in-law may also apply at Group Rates. Please read further for important coverage details and rates.
